Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A man is appearing in the Verulam Magistrate's Court today, after he was caught at King Shaka International Airport at the weekend - with more than R12-million in undeclared currency.

Police say the 30-year-old passenger was arrested on Saturday - after they received a tip-off that he was about to leave for Dubai with a large sum of money that was not declared to customs officials.
When officers approached the airline, they found that the passenger had already boarded his flight.
He was taken off and his luggage - which consisted of seven bags - was offloaded.
The bags were scanned subsequent to them being opened in front of the suspect.
They found a total of R12, 229 200 in cash inside.
