This comes amid warnings from Eskom that it will be switching off electricity in high-density areas due to illegal connections.

Areas in Alexandra, Lenasia and Vlakfontein have been left in the dark due to infrastructure malfunctions.
City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena says illegal connections are adding a tremendous amount of pressure on infrastructure.
"We are hoping to start the work early this morning because we had to get the contractors especially where there was fire at Luna substation so that we can do the deep cleaning with cold ice and before we can see how to restore.
''We have dealt with the several problems in Alexandra and we still have about three transformers to replace which blew up due to overload."
Mangena adds that other areas have been affected by pressure on the network.
"We had a fire at our Luna substation affecting Lenasia South Extension 4 and also Vlakfontein where we have to replace about two pole-mounted transformers which blew up due to overloading."
