Parliament confirms Mabuza unable to answer questions again, to due ill health

Deputy President David Mabuza has postponed his appearance before the National Assembly (NA) again, due to ill health.
The office of the Speaker of Parliament, Thandi Modise, has confirmed that she received correspondence from Mabuza in this regard, requesting that his scheduled appearance on Thursday, be postponed.
“The Deputy President has once again fully committed to his availability before Parliament once fully recovered.
“Speaker Modise has wished the Deputy President a speedy recovery,” says parliamentary spokesperson Moloto Mothapo.

Mabuza was meant to answer questions in the NA and the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) in July.
His appearance was later scheduled for Thursday 20 August, but due to his ill health, he will not be able to appear before parliament.
However, Mabuza has committed to his availability before parliament once he has fully recovered.
