Parliament's programming committee has confirmed the postponement of Finance Minister Tito Mboweni’s Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement.
The mini budget was originally set to be tabled on October 21, but is now scheduled to be delivered a week later on October 28.
This after Mboweni sent a request to National Assembly Speaker Thandi Modise for a postponement due to the recent decisions by Cabinet in respect of adjusted estimates for the current financial year.
