Pastor accused of raping minors remanded in custody
Updated | By Laila Majiet
A self-proclaimed prophet remains behind bars - for now.

Pastor Confidence Monyela is alleged to have raped four young girls at a church in Limpopo.
Provincial police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the suspect is a pastor at the Prophet Ministry Church in Burgersfort and Tlhabine villages.
He appeared before the Lenyenye Magistrate's Court on four charges of rape.
He was remanded in custody for a formal bail application on 29 August.
"It is alleged that the four victims aged 12, 14 and 16 who were ushers in the suspect's Church, were raped between December 2016 and August," Ngoepe says.
"Allegations are that this pastor raped all these victims inside the church on different dates after he invited them one by one to come to the church for prayer and while busy praying, he would then attack the victim and rape her."
The investigation continues.
