PHOTOS: Wits registration disrupted

The Fees Must Fall movement on Monday disrupted the registration process at Wits University in Johannesburg.
The movement stated that that they started shutting down administration procedures which meant no registrations were processed.
This comes after widespread protests last year demanding free education, which lead to President Jacob Zuma announcing that there will be no fee increase in 2016.
On Monday prospective students were told that there was not enough space for everyone with some student waiting to be registered since early in the morning.

Wits University spokesperson Shirona Patel said that they were considering the way forward.
"Registration activities have already been disrupted, however, we are still making a decision as to whether to relocate our registration activities, to open satellite offices or to close for today," she said.
Students have occupied the Solomon Mahlangu (Senate) House in protest.
