PICS: Stone Cradle burns to the ground
A popular restaurant in Pretoria has burnt to the ground at the weekend.
According to Tshwane Emergency Services they received a call yesterday morning that the thatch roof was on fire.
Tshwane EMS spokesperson, Johan Pieterse says their members tried to put out the blaze but that they had to work against strong winds.
"We rushed to the scene and saw the whole structure was engulfed in flames," he said.

"We tried to save some parts of the structures but the strong winds made our job difficult," Pieterse added.
