Snow has begun falling in some parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

Champagne Valley resident Kat Dowling says the Drakensberg mountains were blanketed in snow on Tuesday morning.
"I can't see the mountain at all. A huge storm has come across - it's dark and grey and it's snowing. It's defiantly going to get heavier.
"The wind has picked up, it's getting cold, but everything is changing. The wind is picking up and it's definitely getting way cold. Now there is lightning - it's a full-on storm."
