Piet Byleveld passes away
Renowned former top cop Piet Byleveld has passed away in a hospital in Roodepoort.

His stepdaughter Vernalize Welthagen confirmed the news to Jacaranda FM News.
She says they are now heading into a church service.

Byleveld was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in March.
He was 67 years-old.
