On 28 March, Pistorius' lawyers intend to appeal bail conditions
A provisional date has been set for murder-accused paralympian Oscar Pistorius' appeal of his bail conditions. The North Gauteng High Court will tentatively hear the matter on 28 March.
Pistorius' lawyers served papers early in March, indicating that his bail conditions would be challenged as being unwarranted and unfair. They will seek to have several of the bail conditions scrapped or altered.
These include:
- That Pistorius is not allowed to travel
- That Pistorius should report to the Brooklyn police station in Pretoria
- Being supervised by a probation officer
- Submitting to compulsory drug and alcohol testing
- Pistorius is not allowed to return to his Pretoria home (where Pistorius' girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was shot and killed)
- Karin Labuschagne
