Police call for info on Bedfordview 'assassination'
Gauteng police have appealed for information after a business man was shot and killed in western Ekurhuleni on Monday.
Bedfordview police are seeking information following the hit-like murder.
The 43-year-old man returned from lunch at a restaurant in the area when he was approached by two men on a motorcycle.
He was driving along Kloof and Van Buuren Road in Johannesburg.
The men then stopped next to his luxury vehicle at a traffic light where several shots were fired through the windows.

"The victim then drove about 100 meters from the traffic light and got out the vehicle and collapsed next to his vehicle and he passed away on the scene," says police spokesperson, Andre de Jager.
A case of murder has been opened.
