Police monitor situation in Vuwani
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo have deployed members in Vuwani to ensure the safety of community members and properties.

Protesting residents have closed down the area in their ongoing protest against demarcation.
This issue has led to the torching of schools, violent protests as well as government ministers and President Jacob Zuma visiting the area in recent years.
Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says police will act against those who engage in any form of illegal activity.
"No stone will be left unturned in case of any criminality in that area, because the police have made adequate deployments," says Ngoepe.
Ngoepe says motorists have been advised to drive with caution.
"Last night, four cars were damaged by people throwing stones from the bushes near Masakona village and cases of malicious damage to property were opened. There have been no arrests," says Ngoepe.
