Police are monitoring the situation in Olievenhoutbosch following overnight protest action in the area.
The police's Vishnu Naidoo says community members gathered at the local police station again on Thursday morning but subsequently dispersed.
"We have deployed members of public order policing in that area to manage crowds, but we are also monitoring the surrounding areas closely," says Naidoo.

He says the community raised concerns over policing in the area on Wednesday night but were asked to be more specific in what it is they want police to address.
"They are demanding better policing in the area, they are saying the crime elves are at unacceptable levels," says Naidoo.
"We've been in discussions with them."
He adds: "We've also highlighted to them that the crime situation is not solely a police problem - there has to be a multi-disciplinary integrated approach, which they have understood."
