Police searching for two linked to lion attack

Police are looking for two suspects linked to the mauling of a poacher by lions at a private game reserve in Hoedspruit on Saturday.
The police's Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says they found two sets of footprints moving away from the scene.
Ngoepe says a hunting rifle was also found in the vicinity of the scene.

He says the victim is still unknown but the process of identifying the deceased is underway.
"Subsequent to this gruesome discovery, the police in Hoedspruit outside Phalaborwa have since opened an inquest case for further investigations. Anyone who can assist the police on the identification of the deceased, may go to Hoedspruit Police," Ngoepe says.
