Power cuts on pause ahead of Rugby World Cup final

South Africans will able to enjoy a load-shedding-free Rugby World Cup final between the Springboks and the All Blacks.
The two teams will compete for rugby’s biggest prize in Paris on Saturday.
Eskom announced on Thursday that load-shedding has been suspended until Sunday.
Spokesperson Daphne Mokoena says the utility will communicate should any significant changes occur.
"Due to sufficient generation capacity, including emergency reserves, expected units to be returned to service, as well as anticipated lower demand into the weekend, load shedding will remain suspended until 16:00 on Sunday. Eskom will continue to monitor the power system and publish the week ahead outlook on Sunday," said Mokoena.
