President Zuma sends condolence to India

President Jacob Zuma has sent his condolences to the people of India following a horrific train accident near Kanpur in Uttar.
At least 142 died while more than 200 were left injured after the Patna-Indore Express derailed at the weekend.
President Zuma conveyed a message of condolences to the Prime Minister as well as the people of the Republic of India.
"On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of South Africa, President Jacob Zuma has conveyed a message of condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government and people of the Republic of India following the fatal train accident in northern Uttar," the statement read.

"Our thoughts are with the people of India in the aftermath of the derailing of the train. I wish to send my deepest condolences to the Government of India and to everyone affected, particularly the families and friends of those killed and injured," said President Zuma.
