Protest erupts in Germiston over illegal shacks in the area
Residents of Tedstoneville in Germiston are took to the streets on Friday morning over the erection of shacks near their homes.
Ekurhuleni Metro police’s Lerato Monyane says the protest impacted Elsburg Road, Tedstoneville circle and Oliver Road.

“Residents of Tedstoneville are complaining about the shacks that are being built. Police and EMPD are working hand-in-hand to calm the protestors.”
