Traffic is affected at the R101/N1 junction in the Bela-Bela industrial area in Limpopo, due to protest action.
It is reported that roads in and out of the nearby township are barricaded by burning tyres and other objects.
Limpopo Transport and Community Safety spokesperson Joshua Kwapa says they have also received reports of people pelting vehicles with stones.
"They are also [reportedly] preventing workers from going in and out of the township," says Kwapa.
