Rainy weather expected to clear from Tuesday – SA Weather Service

A warning for disruptive rain on
Monday has been issued by the South African Weather Service for five provinces,
including Gauteng and Limpopo.
But the rainy weather is not expected to last, with the weather service saying it is set to drastically change from Tuesday.
Residents have also been warned that Monday’s persistent rain could lead to localised flooding in some areas.
Weather forecaster Lulama Theme says the conditions is set to clear up from Tuesday when no rain is expected in Gauteng.

“This weather is expected to improve drastically tomorrow as we’ll have an improvement from the west, meaning Gauteng is not expecting anything.
“The only challenges that Gauteng is going to have is some clouds in morning and some fog patches which will improve to partly cloudy in the afternoon.”
But Theme warns resident of Mpumalanga could be in for a rough ride on Monday.
“We are going to increase the level for the south-western parts of highveld Mpumalanga to Orange level 6 and that condition is expected to move to the escarpment and low parts of Mpumalanga towards the evening.”
For Tuesday there is possibility for isolated thunderstorms in the North West province, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
“Now the rain is expected to come over the Western Cape area there is a 30% chance of showers and thundershowers.”
