Ramabulana murder accused to remain behind bars

The suspect linked to the rape and murder of Precious Ramabulana appeared in the Molemole Magistrates Court for bail application on Monday.
Twenty-eight-year-old Aubrey Manaka is facing charges of murder, rape and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
The 21-year-old Capricorn TVET college student was found dead at her residence off campus last week.
She had been stabbed 52 times and it's believed she was also raped.

Manaka was arrested on Thursday and police said he was found in possession of the victim’s phone.
The National Prosecuting Authority's (NPA) spokesperson in Limpopo Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi says Manaka abandoned his bail application.
"He abandoned the bail application. This matter has been postponed for further investigation.”
He will back in court at the end of January.
