Updated | By Nokukhanya N Mntambo
President Cyril Ramaphosa has called another “family meeting” ahead of Easter holidays.
Ramaphosa will address the nation at 19:30 on Tuesday, the presidency has confirmed.
“The address follows meetings in recent days of the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC), the President’s Coordinating Council (PCC) and Cabinet,” says spokesperson Tyrone Seale.
The address comes ahead of the Easter weekend.
Under the current eased lockdown restrictions, there are fears church gatherings could become the site of super spread events.
In addition to church gatherings, regulations on alcohol are also expected to be on the agenda.
