President Cyril Ramaphosa says he will intensify the fight against corruption in honour of the late struggle veteran Isaac 'Bra Ike' Maphoto.
Ramaphosa delivered a moving tribute at Maphoto's special official funeral in Polokwane on Sunday.
He described the stalwart as a force for justice.
"I'm certain that Bra Ike would have been in the forefront of those against the beneficiaries and the defenders of state capture," says Ramaphosa.

Maphoto died last week at the age of 88.
He added that Maphoto often spoke against matters of corruption within the African National Congress (ANC).
"Bra Ike abhorred corruption and the abuse of the movement to enrich oneself.
"In his honour we must double our efforts by intensifying the fight against corruption and hold accountable all those who facilitated the capture of the state."
