The meeting will take place at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse in Tshwane on Tuesday.
Spokesperson for the presidency, Khusela Diko, says this meeting is part of the president's consultations with stakeholders on the lockdown.
"The engagement with traditional leaders forms part of a series of consultations the President is holding with various stakeholder constituencies - including communities of faith, the nation's political leadership and business leaders."
"The President has initiated this process to ensure that the national effort to combat and contain the virus is inclusive and enjoys the support of all stakeholder groups."
As of Tuesday morning, South Africa has a total of 554 coronavirus cases.
