Renewed attempts to capture Fochville lions
Updated | By Pieter van der Merwe
Wildlife authorities will again try to capture a group of lions that are on the loose in Fochville on the West Rand.
Authorities initially set up a trap to capture a young male lion after it was spotted on CCTV footage.
But when authorities tried to capture the young male, they noticed a group of five lions, lead by a dominant male.
The Captured in Africa Foundation's Drew Abrahamson says they will set up four camera traps in the area on Saturday afternoon.
Bait will also be placed at each trap.
