Residents should not panic - Rand Water
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Rand Water says there is no need for residents to panic as there's still plenty of water left in reservoirs.
A shutdown is planned for 54 hours in order for maintenance work to be done.
The shutdown will affect the entire metro, although authorities have said reservoirs will be filled up before-hand, and that Rand Water will also supply water via the Palmiet and Eikenhof pump stations to Johannesburg Water reservoirs.

He says he is confident that they will meet the 54-hour deadline.
