OR Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park teemed with excitement on Friday morning as South Africa’s latest Grammy winners landed back home.

Nomcebo Zikode, Zakes Bantwini and Wouter Kellerman walked away with the best global music performance for their song Bayethe at the 65th Grammy awards in California over the weekend.
The trio were welcomed back by Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa and Gauteng MEC of Sports, Arts and Culture Morakane Mosupyoe.
Zikode took the opportunity to give some advice to young people, saying they need to respect their craft and stay away from drugs.
“I think by winning this Grammy, already we’ve just played our part to say it is possible. Never give up on your talent. It’s important for you at home to have a dream. You need to put some action on it. I’m saying to everyone at home who has a dream, you need to make sure that you dream big. It is possible. It has happened to the three of us so why not to you? Respect your talent, respect your craft because nothing is impossible.”
Meanwhile Keller said his mission has always been to export South Africa’s culture and music to the world.
