A risk of Stage 2 loadshedding
Eskom has confirmed loadshedding from stage 1 to stage 2 for Friday.
However, the embattled power utility said early Friday morning that no decision has been taken yet on implementation throughout the day.
Eskom's Dikatso Mothae says if the system is rolled out, load shedding is expected to take place from 9 am to 10 pm on Friday night.
"This is due to the loss of additional power stations overnight," says Mothae.
