SA records another 2 000 new Covid cases
South Africa recorded 2 267 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
This bringing the total number of recorded infections to 3 657 091.
A total of 847 of the new infections were identified in Gauteng with 443 in the Western Cape and 271 in KwaZulu Natal.
A further 9 people have died from Covid-related complications.
The death toll now stands at 98 617.
The total number of vaccinations is 30 957 204, with 20 832 new vaccinations administered in the past 24 hours.
