SABC to broadcast Springboks’ clash against Italy
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The South African Broadcasting Corporation and SuperSport have reached an agreement to jointly broadcast the clash between the Springboks and Italy.

South Africa will take on Italy at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on 12 July.
Kick-off time is at 5 pm.
SA rugby, SuperSport, and SABC briefed the media in Johannesburg on Thursday.
Also present was Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie, who said it is crucial for rugby games to be televised for the enjoyment of all South Africans.
"The Springboks belong to the whole country, and such an important game will be shown live, and everybody will be able to watch it.
"But we must also be honest and understand things. They can't give all the games currently for free, because this is what's keeping our sports alive.
"Broadcasting these games is not free for the likes of SuperSport. They pay for it."
The public broadcaster has been unable to broadcast the rugby matches due to financial struggles.
