The accused suspects appeared before the Durban Magistrates Court on Monday facing criminal six charges, including attempted murder, kidnapping and extortion.
Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi says two of the accused are Mozambican nationals.
“Their case has been postponed to the 18th, when we expect them to apply for bail.”
