SA's confirmed Covid-19 cases surge by 4,576

To date, 416,187 members of the public have received the first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country has surged by 4,576 in the last 24-hour reporting period.
In a Tweet, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize announced the latest statistics, saying 123 new Covid-19 related deaths were also reported.

To date, 416,187 members of the public have received the first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
There has been no word yet on when the next s-called "family meeting" will be, but the President is expected to address the country on possible new lockdown measures soon.
