Speaking to Jacaranda FM on Sunday, SAWS forecaster Samke Thwala said residents can expect warmer conditions to return on Thursday.
“For tomorrow (Monday) we are expecting mostly partly cloudy conditions and isolated thunderstorms are expected mostly in the afternoon towards the evening as well as Tuesday and Wednesday.
“However, on Thursday no rainfall is expected but on Friday we are looking at partly cloudy conditions with also isolated thundershowers expected later in the afternoon.
“Looking at our temperatures, we are looking at fairly warm temperatures where most of these temperatures should reach those lower 30s for most of the week."
The SAWS also issued a warning for possible severe thunderstorms in North West, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal last week.
