Search continues for man who fell into Hartbeespoort Dam
The NSRI and police divers continued the search for a man who went missing in Hartbeespoort Dam on Saturday afternoon.
The 40-year-old man reportedly fell out of a boat close to Caribbean Estate, and disappeared under water.
A group of friends were on the boat when the 40-year-old and two women went overboard in undetermined circumstances.
NSRI's Craig Lambinon says the two women were recovered with no injuries.
"On arrival on the scene following an extensive search, which included NSRI rescue swimmers conducting free dive search efforts, there remains no signs of the missing man.
"Family of the missing man attended at the scene and are being supported by counsellors.
"Police divers, assisted by NSRI and SRU, are continuing in an ongoing search operation."
