ICYMI: Heatwave conditions expected until Tuesday

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of heatwave conditions over parts of the country from Saturday until the start of the new week.
The heatwave is expected to blanket, Gauteng, as well as other central parts of the country and into the northern areas.
"From today (Saturday) into Tuesday we are expecting the heatwave to be over the Gauteng, North West, eastern and central parts of Free State, with the Limpopo escarpment heatwave expected to last until today (Saturday)," said SAWS forecaster Tokelo Chiloane.
"For Gauteng today (Saturday) we are expecting a maximum of 34 degress in Pretoria, 32 in Johannesburg and 33 in Vereeniging and when you move to Limpopo we are expecting a maximum of 31 degress in Polokwane, 30 in Tzaneen, 32 for Musina and 36 in Lephalale. And with Mpumalanga, we are expecting a maximum of 31 degrees in Mbombela, 32 in Sukukuza and 32 in eMalahleni."
Isolated showers and thundershowers are also forecasted on Saturday over Gauteng, the southern parts of Limpopo and over the Mpumalanga Highveld and escarpment.
