Warning of possible severe thunderstorms, heavy rain in Tshwane
The City of Tshwane on Thursday warned residents of possible disruptive weather conditions.
This comes after the South African Weather Service issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with possible strong winds, hail and excessive lightning.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain in some places.
Spokesperson Lindela Mashigo urged residents to be safe.
"If possible, avoid crossing flooded low-lying roads, bridges and swollen streams and do not seek shelter under trees or tall objects.”
