Second suspect arrested in Annatjie Myburgh case

Police have confirmed that a second suspect has been arrested in connection with the hijacking and kidnapping of Annatjie Myburgh whose body was discovered at the weekend.

Myburgh's body was found in a veld near the Numbi gate of the Kruger National Park after being hijacked at her house on the 15th of June.
Police spokesperson, Gerald Sedibe confirmed that the second suspect was arrested at his house near Bushbuckridge.
"The man was arrested in a village near Buschbuckridge and both suspects will be appearing in court today," Sedibe said.
The suspects are facing charges of hijacking and kidnapping of the 58-year-old woman while the investigation continued.
The Mpumalanga woman went missing on Wednesday and was believed to have been kidnapped and hijacked at her home in Rocky Drift while on her way to work.
A 26-year-old suspect was arrested on Saturday.
