Serial paedophile sentenced in Johannesburg
A car salesman from the East Rand has been handed a hefty sentence for nearly 900 charges of rape, sexual grooming, as well as the manufacturing and distribution of child pornography.
Warren Troy Knoop pleaded guilty to all 870 charges. His victims include three young girls.
Knoop was caught when US officials found him sharing scores of videos on a website commonly accessed by paedophiles.
The organisation, Women and Men Against Child Abuse, says he was sentenced to 32 life sentences as well as 170 years imprisonment.

The organisation's Miranda Friedmann has welcomed the sentencing in the High Court in Johannesburg.
"As an organisation we are very happy with these sentences, but would want to make sure that he never ever gets out of jail. There must be no parole ever granted to him. By law he can apply after 25 years, but will need approval from the victims and their families, and that will never happen" says Friedmann.
