Seven people have been wounded in a shootout in the Johannesburg CBD.
Paramedics say the shootout happened outside a block of flats on Kerk Street in Braamfontein shortly after noon on Wednesday.
ER24 says they found a woman and six men lying outside the block of flats.
"Paramedics immediately assessed the patients and found that two were in a critical condition while the five others had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious," says ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
Details surrounding the shooting are unclear at this stage.
Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele says a man opened fire on a group of homeless people after they allegedly failed to vacate a property.
