Shape up time for Tshwane police
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Tshwane will be sent for reassessments if they are found to be unfit.

Tshwane is hosting a fitness day for all police officers of the seven stations in the capital.
SAPS spokesperson, Captain Colette Weilbach, says physical fitness is one of the priorities of the annual operations plan of Gauteng for 2017/2018.
Weilbach says certain targets will have to be reached by the officers in various activities.
"We will give them guidelines on how to keep up their fitness levels. We also have gyms within clusters. Every Wednesday we also conduct aerobic and yoga classes for the police officers, she adds."
