The case against three women and three men who were found naked at a North West church on Friday has been postponed pending a formal bail application.
Eleven children were also found at the church.
The accused, aged between 21 and 85, appeared in the Rustenburg Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of contravention of the Sexual Offences Act and crimen injuria.
They were arrested at Boitekong, outside Rustenburg at a house used as a church.
The six boys and five girls, aged between four and 12, have since been taken into the care of social workers and relatives.
Police spokesperson Sabata Mokgwabone said they received a tip-off from the wife of one of the congregants.
"According to information received, the house that was used as a church, partially burnt on Friday due to items including a couch which were set alight by the church leader who is also one of the accused persons. She was arrested and charged on Sunday."
They will remain in custody until 13 June.
