Social media reacts to Mcebo Dlamini's reason for wanting to be released on bail
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
People have taken to social media after student leader Mcebo Dlamini's legal representative told the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court that his client can't be remanded in custody until tomorrow, because he has a test to write.

Mcebo, who is a vocal leader of the 'Fees Must Fall' movement, appeared for his bail application after he was arrested on various charges on Sunday.ย
The state's application for a postponement was granted, saying it had to verify Dlamini's birth date and address.
Dlamini's legal representative, Mongezi Ntanga, opposed the postponement, saying the student leader is meant to write a test tomorrow.
Fellow student leader, Shaeera Kalla, defends Dlamini's argument.
Other people to to social media questioning Dlamini's reasoning.
Wonder whether Mcebo Dlamini's revolutionary #FeesMustFall comrades will call him out on this. Probably not. pic.twitter.com/agnbQ9t6td

#MceboDlamini is that friend who studied ahead of time for exams, and says to those who still need to study; "Let's go party!"

#MceboDlamini desire to write a test tomorrow shows that he selfishly doesn't care about students and only cares about his own motives
