Some roads open again after Zandspruit protests
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
A section of Beyers Naudé Road near Zandspruit was re-opened Friday morning after three days and nights of violent protests.
The Johannesburg Metro Police's Edna Mamonyane, however, has advised motorists to put safety first.
"One lane was opened partially, but we still recommend that motorists used N14 and Hendrik Potgieter Road," she said.
Police spokesman, Kay Makhubela said there was another incident of attempted looting last night.
"We managed to arrest one suspect for public violence, but so far nothing else happened," Makhubela said.
