South Africans urged to explore country over Easter

South Africans are being urged to take time to explore the country this Easter long weekend.

The Tourism Department says domestic tourism has increased and is tracking higher than pre-Covid levels.


Domestic tourism contributes some two hundred billion rand to the economy.


Spokesperson Mashoto Mokgethi says they have set up activities in the different attractions in the country.
