WATCH: SPCA to lay criminal charges against motorist for dumping dog carcass

The Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Sandton says it will lay criminal charges against
a motorist who dumped a dog carcass in Kensington earlier this week.
Sandton SPCA general manager Jaco Pieterse says they received a number of complaints from members of the public.
"The SPCA immediately jumped into action, investigated the complaints and we are still busy with the investigations.”
Pieterse says have managed to track down the motorist and are now in talks with his legal representatives.
"Once the investigation has been completed then we will pursue the criminal charges," he says.
The dog’s cause of death is not yet known.
