Spring holidays to bring bumper traffic on N3

Schools are on break, and traffic volumes are set to pick up on the roads as families go on their respective holidays.

"Motorists should pay particular attention to maintaining safe following distance considering the varying types of vehicles that traverse the route on a daily basis," says N3 Toll Concession's Thania Dhoogra.


"A significant portion of which are slow  moving heavy vehicles transporting goods between the port in Durban and Johannesburg."


Dhoogra has urged motorists to also be mindful of the ever-changing weather conditions.


"Motorists are reminded to please adjust their driving style to the prevailing conditions at the time.


"Always follow the signposts of speed limits, drive defensively and keep headlights on to increase visibility at all times."
