Springs plane crash kills two

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has begun a probe into an aircraft accident in which two people were killed.
CAA spokesperson, Papi Maja, says the crash occurred in Springs late Sunday afternoon.
He says the pilot and his passenger were killed instantly.
Ekurhuleni Emergency Services spokesperson, William Ntladi says when paramedics arrived on the scene in Mimosa Avenue in New Era they found two bodies inside the mini aircraft.
“We are told that the aircraft was preparing to land at a nearby Springs airfield landing strip,” said Ntladi, noting that the cause of the accident is not yet known.
