The final state capture report is expected to land on President Cyril Ramaphosa's desk next month.

This was confirmed by Minister in the Presidency Mondli Gungubele at a press briefing in Tshwane on Thursday.
“The Commission of Inquiry into Allegations of state Capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector, including Organs of State, is scheduled to submit its final report to President Cyril Ramaphosa on Saturday, 1 January.”
The commission, which was appointed by former president Jacob Zuma, has been running since 2018.

Since then more than 300 witnesses have given evidence before the commission while the costs have accelerated to R830 million.
Gungubele says the report will be made public for all South Africans to consume, but did not say when.
"It will be made public but I don't know when. The president will receive and determine the date. We don't have a choice by the way our constitution is for transparency, accountability and an open democracy. Those principles will always prevail."
