Striking Harmony Gold miners resurface
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
All the employees who participated in the illegal sit-in at Harmony Gold's Kusasalethu mine near Carletonville since Wednesday have safely returned to the surface.
Harmony Gold says employees returned to the surface shortly before midnight last night.
The company's Mariaan van der Walt also confirms that mine management is in discussion with AMCU union representatives over the 1700 workers' demands.
"There were several demands received from the participating employees only very late yesterday afternoon. We will deal with every single one of those demands," says Van der Walt.
The employees' exact demands have not been confirmed yet.
