Taxi driver protest in Orlando West
Taxi drivers took to the streets in protest in Orlando West in Soweto on Monday morning.
Johannesburg metro police spokesperson Wayne Minaar says the cause of the protest is not yet known.
“Taxi drivers are protesting at the moment along Klipspruit Valley road along Khumalo street in Orlando west Soweto. The cause of the protest is not known.”

Motorists have been advised to use Chris Hani Road or to drive through Meadowlands as alternative routes due police officers diverting traffic.
