Teens linked to Thoriso Themane killing set to apply for bail
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Seven teenagers charged with the murder of Thoriso Themane are expected to appear at the Polokwane Children's Court for a formal bail application on Wednesday.

They're among a group of nine - including two adults - linked to the death of the 27-year-old, who was assaulted and left for dead in February.
A video depicting Themane’s killing went viral and showed the deceased being dragged by a group of teenagers after being assaulted at Flora Park in Polokwane.

Another video appeared later showing one of the alleged assailants bragging that nothing will happen to him since his father is a police officer.
"They didn't appear today, there were some other arrangements which have been changed for tomorrow," says spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson (NPA) in Limpopo, Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi.
Malabi-Dzhangi says the two adults' case is postponed for further investigations.
The pair will appear at the Polokwane Magistrates Court on May 31.
